I always choose OEM parts. I replaced two new batteries on my Duramax and the problem returned; hard/slow start and main unit memory leak. I thought, "F! I've got a bad new battery!” Not so fast, factory bolts are less threaded than these; Improving Dorman's posts. Prevented the destruction of my truck. With a normal vehicle, this is not a problem if the cable breaks, no damage, no electricity. The diesel has two batteries. When the positive cable on the passenger battery came loose, it was still hot from the other battery. I had a driven guide stumbling around looking for land; that's what batteries do. It's nobody's fault but me, I put in new batteries. It was the AC lines that prevented the hot spring from being grounded and likely caused the ongoing battery fire; definitely listen.
