Review on Victorinox Cutlery 9 Inch Polypropylene Handle by Heidi Monroe

I love Victorinox. I also have a chef's knife, a santoku, and a paring knife. They come out of the box razor sharp. I cut myself once while cleaning the chef and while it looked like a small cut it was actually quite deep. Use with caution, although the polymer handle provides a secure grip even when wet. They seem to hold up to regular sharpening, although my whetstone skills give me room to improve on these knives, they have given acceptable results even with the "continuous" sharpeners you can use. I've had a few well intentioned people put them in the dishwasher and they hold up well, but I'd advise hand washing all kitchen knives. Highly recommend for personal use, but also makes a great gift for friends or relatives. . I'm a hobby chef and have no experience with expensive knives, but I can't spend that much money on an alternative like this on the market.
