Easy replacement with remote control without reprogramming
Instead of using the new remote control as it came, I opened it and the one that was to be replaced. I took the circuit board off the old remote and replaced the new circuit board with a new one. Reprogramming was not necessary. The problem with the old remote control was worn contacts. Very quick and efficient replacement for a new work console. I've done this with several remote controls for our cars over the years.
