Review on Dimensions 13683 Needlecrafts Counted Feasting by Jessica Lewis

A good kit that has everything you need except a bow. The pattern comes in two parts as this is a large project. As I delved into this too much, I found that my fabric ran horizontally, not vertically, when I started the pattern. This meant I had to remove some of the top and bottom of the drawing to make it fit. I then used extra fabric on the sides to cross the verse and some paint to fill in the extra empty space. So be careful how you hold the fabric as you start sewing as this is a rectangular piece, not a square. The scheme is complex and time consuming. I've been working on this for three months off and on. I would not recommend it for beginners. Some of the threads broke during use so I'm deducting one star for the quality and quantity of threads, a few flowers wasn't enough for the bird house itself. Have to go to the store and try to find a close match to make it to complete. I had too many other colors, but it would be better to have too many than too few. The needle broke about a third of the way into the project, hence another star for that. I had to buy a replacement needle which I didn't like as well as the one that came with the kit.
