I have an old oil lamp that was converted to an electric about 40 years ago and the switch has failed. The big hardware store didn't have it, even though they have a whole department of similar parts from the same manufacturer. They had other options (black plastic handle, knob) but the switch is exposed to the lamp so looks are important. It fit perfectly, wasn't more expensive than in store, shipping was free because I have Prime. This is an additional item but I ordered other things anyway so no problem.
