I was a little hesitant to purchase these shears due to the mixed reviews of their sharpness but they are good for the way I use them. I cut my hair into small sections and it cuts well when you do it this way. These aren't the super-sharp scissors you find in salons, but you can't get them for $20 anywhere. Unless you're trying to cut thick hair into large sections, this should work just fine. I think they're the perfect middle ground between high-end salon shears (which cost a lot of money) and cheap junk. Definitely worth trying.
