It flows better than the original so the engine code works, at least for me. Just buy a $10 pad and you're done. Noticed slightly more power due to better flow compared to the original. Fits perfectly. Installed with new gaskets (sold separately) in an hour and I'm in a rusty belt. But new screws for the resonator/middle tube connection and clean the end of the middle tube with sandpaper for better sealing. Tip: Jack everything up after assembly and start the car, the connection on the engine must not be leaking when tightening, the middle pipe is. You hear and feel how it flows. I just tightened it while it worked until it stopped leaking, then turned it another 1/4 or half turn and it's been tight ever since. No leaks on a car with rusty belt and 115,000 miles at time of service.
