Amazing handheld scanner for scanning items that can't be moved to a traditional scanner. It's very easy to connect the scanner to your computer and access your scans. Please note that this will not allow you to immediately see the quality of the scan. If you're scanning a lot of pages, I strongly recommend scanning a few pages and then seeing if your technique produces the quality you want. The key to scanning is simply getting you to scan at a constant slow to medium speed while holding the scanner level on the desired surface. The only problem I had was trying to scan a book, which was usually blurry in the middle of the book. It wasn't that it was impossible to read, it was just that the quality wasn't as high as off-site. Other users have suggested placing a translucent sheet on top of your book and scanning the translucent sheet. This eliminates the problems associated with smearing the center of the book and allows both sides to be scanned at the same time, reducing the number of scans required.
