This is the speaker cable you are looking for.

Let me start this review by saying yes, I am an audio addict, former full time sound engineer, home theater installation consultant at some point in my life and still an avid musician /Home Theater Lover/Audiophile. However, NO, so I advise you to spend a little more on a cable to get the best possible signal quality. It's just science. Application example: Connection of 4 ohm loudspeakers. Problem: Connecting 4 ohm speakers. Solution: this cable OR similar cables. foot length. In fact, you generally need larger cables for high-end speakers. There's math, resistance, a bit of science, but it really comes down to what that cable can carry to drive those passive floorstanding speakers you just spent good money on. Well here is the truth and where my opinion and experience comes into play. A: Canare makes some of the best, if not the best, cables. Blue Jeans uses a Canare 4S11 to make this cable and it's a dream come true. From the stage, in the studio, there are many home installations. Canare and Mogami were the cables we swore by. They could be stretched, twisted, pushed through things they weren't supposed to be pushed through, and anything else, and still work the next day and the day after that. In fact, I've had the same guitar and mic cables at home for almost a decade. Why? Well, a Canare cable (also Neutrik connections, but we won't go into details). In any case, the quality of the cable is not only excellent. We just don't care about doing it ourselves and want someone who does it ALL THE TIME to do it for us. If not, you have high-end speakers. You need a bigger cable. Of course you could use a small 16 gauge cable, regular proprietary cable. You're losing a great signal from a durable cable that will last you a lifetime.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
