This set works great. I made the mistake of ordering it for my 6.5 liter Detroit diesel with M10x1.5 starter holes and later discovered that they make a kit specifically for the starter holes as the starter bolts are NOT regular quality bolts : They have a grooved area that needs to be minimized starter movement. The recommended Time-Sert starting hole set for the M10x1.5 starter is #1380 and differs in that it has a step drill to make a pocket for the knurled sleeve (included) for the knurled area of the starter screw sits down. and the mating surface of the starter. This bushing is part number EN-42385-67 and you will need to purchase it along with a 0.5" drill bit and 10mm precision drill tools if like me you bought it instead of a kit. #1380. Kit #1380 says it's for aluminum cylinder blocks and that's the main reason I decided not to buy it because the 6.5 liter blocks are iron and I thought , the drill would not do the job, although I know better now. Along with the extra 20mm inserts, I spent almost as much as kit #1380 and added about a month to the project. Do the right thing, buy the right kit, and be done in an hour.
