this is one of the most annoying. can be used mainly for network testing.

After using this tester it is one of the most annoying. The main application can be testing network cables. Unlike most testers, it will show an error if the cable is good, typically on pairs 1 and 2 on long cables over 100 feet. It includes a tester and a remote control to test the cable, the rest is just the cable number. The tester only displays an error without specifying which side of the cable is poorly or not fully connected. 8 test consoles do not fit in the patch panel or 4 or 6 wall panels in the adjacent sockets. They are too big and the connector is part of the tester. The plastic labels on the cable ends fall off so you can just check the cable numbers (the same yellow ones). The device has a nice feature: the power button is not pressed. by itself, saves battery. I wouldn't buy this unit again just to have lots of buttons to test. To test the cable and find the cable ID, you must first test the cable, exit and press the ID button! - there are better testers for this price is too expensive for everything else you get several working remotes with labels, so you can test several cables one after the other, find out where they are open, cross and miss. The exposed cable is shown with 7 short wires and one short wire - there was actually no adapter at the end of this cable (because you can't put 2 test adapters next to each other in a patch panel.
