1999 Honda Accord Sedan Passenger Side FRONT

1999 Accord Sedan Spare Part; Passenger side, front door. Watch 1aauto's video on YouTube on how to remove the actuator. That's fine, it shows the driver's side, but it's probably the same as the passenger's side, minus some connectors for the power window buttons. My additions to the guide: Remove the white plastic cover that covers the drive. This plastic cover has a plastic knob that connects to the black sheet metal of the door lock handle. A screw holds the plastic cover, also remove the black plate attached to the button. You'll understand when you see him in the door. Now remove the 2 or 3 small screws on the "L" of the drive. My 1999 only had two, but there's room for a third, so maybe I never had one. You can leave the 2 large screws on until the drive is completely removed - it just holds some kind of bracket/cover on the back. sit in the door. Again, you'll see what I'm talking about once you remove the old one. It wasn't until I removed the aforementioned white plastic cover that it became clear how to put it back in place. Use a small mirror and a flashlight for more angles and it's pretty obvious. This job took over an hour, just be careful if you get sticky from the door dust cover sealant and use a mirror and screwdriver to remove and install some of the screws (dispose of the screws by removing them catch out of the door). A headlamp also helped a little. The work is quite doable. This was the third actuator I replaced on our Accord and it is happy now. :)
