I'm an experienced knitter and this is the third swift I've bought. Can I just say the third time is adorable! The first had a frustrating clip that broke. The second was one of the smallest metal and plastic umbrellas that caught my yarn and only fit on the end table. Third, this is a wonderful swift! Superb construction of this swift and a lifetime guarantee! Used for the first time yesterday and very satisfied. The Swift is large enough to fit any size skein, the movement was smooth with no metal parts for the yarn to catch, and the tabletop clamp is large enough to fit snugly on any of my desks (no scratches) . .
