I am very happy with this purchase and I think Gabe is too. He is very tolerant when it comes to clothes and costumes, but some fits bother him and he will make a fuss - but not about it! It was cozy and purred vigorously and even napped in it. It's easy to put on and take off with a couple of velcro straps at the chest and stomach (and one for the actual cut around the neck). Part of the body stretches very well, making it easier to thread your paws through. I have a medium for this big boy. He weighs about 16 pounds and is generally tall, not necessarily fat. It fit him perfectly but having almost bought a small I would say it has grown in size compared to what you think. Either way, it's always safe to go a little more than a little with pet costumes!
