Good for securing tack
I mean is it ok? The rope is of good quality, soft and does not irritate the very sensitive skin of the elderly Arab gentleman in the photo. It's huge, although it's only regulated to the point. I don't understand how you can measure anything accurately in horses and cows because they have such different heads. It should have been smaller and it is huge. Also, the rope is thick even for a halter. So unless you secure it with very tight knots (which we know aren't secure), there are huge knots on the horse's muzzle.
