TL;DR: Great monitor. Large stand, prone to shaking, monitor hum is not conducive to working with sound. I originally bought this to replace an outdated 30" Apple Cinema display in my home project studio. I mainly work with audio and occasionally edit images/videos. Thing is pretty amazing. The picture is good and crisp, the screen size is definitely a plus, I like the built in USB hub (one less thing on my desk) and the included washer is actually very handy. Overall this is a great monitor but there are a few things others should consider before buying: 1. The stand base is much larger than I expected. Of course, it's my fault for not fully researching all the specs before purchasing. Measures 11 3/16" deep and 15 1/2" wide. When the monitor is in its most upright position, the front of the monitor is approximately 7 inches from the back of your desk. It's a bit closer to my sitting position than I'd like, but it's something to keep in mind if you're short on desk space.2. Considering the size of the base, I expect this thing to be rock solid. Unfortunately, the monitor wobbles when typing on the keyboard. I've been trying to narrow down the causes and I think it's the position of the Vesa mount that connects to the back of the monitor. If I had a solid wood table it might not be a problem, but I use one of those Z-Line Cyprus tables with a glass top. Not a big problem, but can be distracting.3. The biggest problem and the reason I decided to replace it with something else is the noise this thing makes. The monitor emits a buzzing sound when receiving
