Bright as the original
The original Whirlpool dryer interior light burned out and I replaced it with an incandescent bulb, but it didn't produce nearly as much light as the original. The original lamp is 10 watts, while most night lamps are 4 or 7 watts. I couldn't find the original 10 watt bulb locally, except at appliance parts stores, but the price was unreasonable compared to the price I found at Revain, even with shipping included (plus I didn't have to pay for gas , to go shopping). - more shipping costs). I bought two lamps because the shipping costs were the same. This lamp is as bright as the original and I am happy with my purchase and will buy again.
