Very solidly built. They work well as steps or ramps. Easy to convert from one to the other. We use them as steps. There is no doubt that they will continue. Durable and safe, easily supports any dog's weight. Nice wide. Don't worry about my dogs falling. Easily attaches to car door frame or tailgate. Would rate 5 stars excerpt for 2 items. The steps are hard plastic and VERY smooth. Both of my dogs had a little trouble keeping traction downhill. As a ramp, they would have real traction problems. I attached it with self-adhesive traction pads. A simple and inexpensive solution. Now there are no more traction problems. Second, they are NOT lightweight. The steps are difficult. My wife has a hard time lifting them onto the back of our truck. They fold securely and lock into place when folded and are not difficult to handle. However, note that they are solidly built and have a bit more weight than other dog ramps and steps. Would buy again but they are so well made we don't have to.
