Before install I check if the backlight is working, but I didn't go through all the color combinations (who would have thought). After spending about two hours on the stairs installing it under the windows of my house, I set the app to toggle between red and green, only to find that the red light went the full length of the strip lights up while the green only lights up about 4 feet of LED strip. I could understand if I connected the strips together, but it was one continuous original strip. All other colors work well and I love the app, but I can't have Christmas lights without green. To make matters worse I contacted the seller and shared my photos to which they replied that these were not their lights. Needless to say I am returning them for a full refund. I just hate going up the stairs and deleting the set.
