All in all, this little sewing kit has everything you need for quick sewing at home, at work and on the go. I like that it has 2 extra white and 2 extra black threads; a large number of smaller safety pins; good selection of sewing needles; measuring tapes of plastic (not of paper); and metal - not cheap plastic - a thimble. The only feature I'm not happy with is the very poor lighting. It just doesn't work well, if at all. The zipper is small and shiny, so it's difficult to open. And you can't unzip the zipper all the way to the end, because if you try to pull it up, the zipper will open. Very annoying, hence my four stars. I use an elastic band to keep it closed.
