Review on Beck Arnley 201 1962 Light Switch by Chris Cervantes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It got worse to the point where I had to kick.

Purchased to replace the original switch in my 2007 Nissan Altima. Starting Altima was a real pain. It took him several button presses before he started the engine. The situation kept getting worse to the point where I had to desperately squeeze the crap out of the brake before it would fire. It was pretty embarrassing picking my daughter up from softball practice and slamming on the brakes like a madman a few times before it even started. Replacing this brake light switch solved the problem. I wish I had known sooner that this is so easy and cheap to fix. The switch is located just above the brake pedal and you can reach it without removing anything. There are two switches above the brake pedal and this one is closer to the driver's side. Turn the switch counter-clockwise to release it from the bracket it is in. The wire harness to which it is connected is removed from the switch by pressing and pulling on the tab. Insert the new switch, slide it into the bracket and push in by turning clockwise to install. That's all. It's so nice when the car starts and you hardly step on the brakes. The best $20 I've spent in a long time.
