The best of its kind but there is a better option

The material is the same as other more expensive branded options of the same. This is the best of a few different types I've tried, but the sound of closet doors closing was still unacceptable to me. A lot depends on the quality of your existing cabinet hinges whether this product is profitable or not. A lot also depends on your use case and whether or not the cabinets are at eye level. Because they are thicker than average, your cabinet doors noticeably don't fit the frame. This will make your cabinet handles look a little crooked and give a messy look to the whole kitchen, for example, in my opinion. Depending on the versatility of your existing hinges, you may need to customize existing hinges for best results. If you encounter the expense and headache inherent in this product, I think the answer will be to simply purchase soft-closing hinges. At least it was for me. You can get a pack of 50, enough for 25 cabinets, for $70 of high-quality soft-close hinges, which works out to about $3 per cabinet. I chose them but there are many options: https://www.amazon.com/Pairs-Overlay-Close-Compact-Cabinet/dp/B072DR42MHSo I gave it 4 stars as I think this product is the best Option is, and it does what it says, but in the end it became a new problem in the form of a solution. Better fix the problem at the source, right? My advice? Bite the bullet and install soft-close cabinet hinges from the start. Even the most experienced craftsmen can easily install them with a screwdriver or drill. The difference in cost is not significant enough to justify the shortcomings and complexity of the product in question.
