Review on ๐Ÿพ Premium Mighty Paw Metal Buckle Dog Collar: Lightweight, Reflective Stitching, Durable Design by Pamela Beatty

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Mighty Paw just settled the adjustable collar and buckle debate?

As you may know, the biggest difference between dog collars is whether the connecting parts are a clasp or a buckle. There is a give and take with them. Buckles are usually stronger than buttons, which are almost always partially plastic. On the other hand, the buckles are limited by holes in the material and don't always sit properly, while the snap collar can be fine-tuned for a more snug fit. In some situations, martingale can be used as a compromise, but not everyone (including me) likes martingale. The Mighty Paw collar fills the gap here. The button/buckle parts are all metal, creating a strong and durable connection similar to a seat belt. As a result, the collar is secure and fits perfectly. The slider is also metal, which is nice because I've seen cuts like this many times on cheap collars. There are a few other great features that made me really happy: โ€ข Reflective stitching - I love that. I'm really starting to get interested in this feature that I want to have on all my gear โ€ข Separate D-rings for tags and leash attachment - I've seen a lot of tags lost when a leash was accidentally attached to a detachable leash ring. Tags (actually I made it myself). Having a smaller D-ring just for tags is pretty nice. In addition, the D-ring for connecting to the leash is designed for high loads. โ€ข The material is light - I find the vast majority of collars to be pretty damn bulky. It's thin and light, but not flimsy. Overall I am very happy with this collar. I bought this for my english bulldog and now i think my jack russell and boston terrier need it too!
