Good, very good, but not great

This spring I decided to work in the garden due to the extra time my hands have. This seemingly simple task quickly turned into a rather large project. The project included removing several trees, removing bushes that had been standing for years, removing contaminated topsoil from throughout the site, digging trenches for pathways, removing debris for pathways, removing new topsoil for the garden, construction and the installation of raised floors. , digging trenches for digging and putting up fences etc. etc. It quickly became apparent that the cheap, decent-as-possible gloves I had were not suitable for all this work. I wore two pairs in just a few days. So, after doing as much research as I could with a pair of gardening gloves (maybe an hour before my head would explode), I settled on these guys. I'm a tall guy - 6ft 4in, 230lbs, things often don't add up. I ordered a large size, which fits my hands very well (which is what I wanted) and maybe SIMPLE, maybe a little shorter (a few millimeters for example). I like the feel, they are comfortable, the sweatband on the thumb was a nice touch. I wore these guys for most of this project and was happy until about a week ago the stitching at the tip of my middle finger on my right (dominant) hand started to unravel and wear out. Now the tip of my middle finger is exposed and I'm a bit frustrated. If they lasted the entire project and growing season, I'd give them a five. that again.

Cons
