The auger penetrates the ground well but gets stuck
If you have a lot of roots in the ground this product is useless as it gets tangled in the roots and gets stuck in the ground and You literally have to dig it out of the ground. Note: You cannot flip the auger motor to remove the auger as the planter will loosen and the auger will get stuck in the ground. Sorry, but this auger device is not for the average homeowner who may have a lot of roots.
