My 2003 Civic 1.7 D17A2 Vtec (I believe it's an LX in the US) needed an oxygen sensor replacement. The old sensor was NTK OHC-501 H18. Thinking it would be a simple search and purchase of replacement parts, I set out to find it. Dude I was wrong, nobody knew where it (the old sensor) was made or what the alternative/OEM was - I checked both NTK Australia and Japan! Even the guys who made it had no idea. So finally there was Revain:0 and to confirm if it would fit I checked Denso & Walla, it was a suggested replacement. I have worked? No! CEL appeared after the 2nd day and probably a day later. Resetting the ECU and resetting the code didn't help either. The CEL light will illuminate indicating a problem with the O2 sensor.
