Directly fits 04 Civic Si hatchback. fixed p0141

I had a CEL on a Honda Civic 04 si hatchback, after replacing this lower oxygen sensor people disappeared and I passed the inspection with a bang! It's been two weeks and everything seems to be working fine.

This top sensor really works!

After trying a non-original top gauge on my daughter's 2002 Civic EX that wouldn't turn off the check engine light, this one did. After installation the engine light came on again but I disconnected the battery and reset it and now the light is finally off and the car is inspected. So this one has to be OEM because it works!

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes

Correct Part Number - Not working

This Denso 234-4122 is the correct part for the lower O2 sensor for my 2001 Accord LX 4cyl vtec-ulev. Oddly, prior to the replacement I had the wrong O2 sensor and had no codes. Just weird O2 readings. The figure shows the data from the previous sensor. However, upon installation I immediately received a code for a faulty heater sensor circuit 02. Removed and checked the voltage/ohms. Shows more than 1V and only 3 ohms between the two black wires. According to the data sheet it should be 20-40…

Don't bother buying a generic 02 sensor, buy the one for your car!

World Best Price. I didn't want to mess around with "universal" O2 sensor types and splice wires to work with factory plugs. I'd rather pay the extra $ to have it assembled properly and quickly. Use this on a 2003 RSX, not a Type-S. After replacing the primary and secondary O2 sensors, I also checked their respective fuses and reset the OBD. CEL did not come. All is well. Mileage increased from mid-20s to mid-30s. (as it should have been). I bought a puller with an 02 sensor offset (needed for…

May not work on your Civic!

My 2003 Civic 1.7 D17A2 Vtec (I believe it's an LX in the US) needed an oxygen sensor replacement. The old sensor was NTK OHC-501 H18. Thinking it would be a simple search and purchase of replacement parts, I set out to find it. Dude I was wrong, nobody knew where it (the old sensor) was made or what the alternative/OEM was - I checked both NTK Australia and Japan! Even the guys who made it had no idea. So finally there was Revain:0 and to confirm if it would fit I checked Denso & Walla, it was

Great quality, great price!

So far, so good. Replaced this on my 2003 Civic EX coupe (I've heard the '04 and '05 use a different sensor) on the exhaust manifold (upstream). I didn't have a check engine light or anything, but I replaced it more as preventive maintenance. Also, the sensor on the catalytic converter was replaced with a Denso (different part number). I try to keep my car clean and drive like new, that certainly helps. My only concern is that it didn't have rubber inserts to keep the wires in place and stable…
