They are very fast. Amazingly fast! Nothing for beginners. The big wheels handle bumps and rocks really well. Much nicer than traditional rulers. The price is nice too. Those are good qualities. But the boot is shorter than traditional inline skates, allowing the ankle to flex and move. Unstable because they are off the ground with those big wheels. My ankles felt like they were about to roll. However, the problem is that the studs are not flush under the ball of the foot and heel and at the ankles. They stick out a few mm and put pressure on all points. After a few hundred yards my ankles hurt and the balls of my feet wouldn't last long. Poor design and a soft boot don't make up for that. I will return them and try another brand.
