Vehicle refinement

Readers; I have a 2018 Honda Ridgeline truck. It came with a "regular" air filter. And I wanted to put on a high tech look like I have on my Suzuki Burgman and on my gas range. So I bought one for my truck. Arrived safely. I went to the truck, "dance around the computer junk", found the air filter housing, opened it up, took out the "normal" one and put it in - in perfect and better condition, and closed the air filter cover. . I say better fit because the new filter's lip is flat and flexible so it seals the 04 edges while the stock filter doesn't. Can you imagine "junk" going beyond "normal"? I'm sure I can. I hear you ask; is there a REAL difference? That is, I say yes, on two fronts I work on the third. First, I "feel" better riding it {subjectively}. Second, I notice a subtle change in RPM [for the better] at set test speeds. [objective] Front third, gas mileage, I'm still I' I'm working on numbers. {math} And on top of that, you just have to clean the thing and put it back in instead of buying a new one every time. Try it, you will love it.
