This is the most serious shower radio I've seen. Sounds good, works good, controls are easy. Like most "waterproof" electronics, it is not indestructible. I met our first one in the pool and he died but we liked him so much we bought another one. Its only real downside is that it drains expensive C batteries very quickly, even when the CD player isn't being used. Since we no longer use CDs and are tired of buying batteries for them, it just hangs in the shower now. The iPod player on the counter has taken over.
