that might be my problem. I have a set of these for my camper bed and they work great. I needed another kit for the camper van basement door so I ordered £40. kit. First, this is the only door that has only one jamb. Still think 40lbs will work, put them on without keeping the door closed. I ordered 100l. and we will see.
