It worked well for three years after I learned how to adjust the reservoir air pressure. You need to set the air pressure slightly lower than the cut-off pressure. Otherwise, the pressure will suddenly drop too much and the pump switch will be blocked. I've read instructions for these sealed air tanks that say you should use the same tank pressure as the cutoff pressure. However, this does not allow for any tolerance for such a switch. The cut-off pressure should be slightly higher than the air pressure in the tank. Over time the air will leak out so the problem will come back, but if you need to add air (I do this annually) make sure it is adjusted to around 28psi when there is no water in it. Not 30psi. This is when the switch is set to 30, as it should be, and mine was pretty close.
