I purchased two batteries of the same brand from the same seller at the same time for two completely different laptops - an HP and a Dell. In both cases they appeared to match the original battery at first glance, but didn't properly fit into the laptop. I was able to get them installed, but neither one would stay locked in place very well. They both looked very cheaply/poorly made with little attention to detail. In both cases Windows indicated the charge state was around 50%, but had only 1 minute of charging left until the battery was full. I was so disappointed with these batteries that I had tried them both out and dropped them off to be returned within an hour after receiving them. If I had purchased one battery that was so bad, I'd give them a chance to give me a better one. However, both batteries were equally pathetic so I wasn't willing to take any chances with replacements.I wanted to buy OEM batteries, but both have been discontinued by the manufacturer in this case. I quickly found out that shopping for a decent battery is like sifting through manure for diamonds. Many of the brands are sold under different brands but made by the same manufacturer Dongguan Lewe Electronics Co., Ltd. AVOID THESE BATTERIES AT ALL COSTS!
