The foam covering the base has only been stretched in half and sealed with glue under the rim, causing it to wobble and also a hazard due to the exposed metal rim representing wood. Speaking of exposed metal edges, the mid-shaft has open seams that give the impression that something was meant to be an insert, but instead leaves semi-sharp edges and perfect foam-seal slots. Having transparent pads to hold the shadow is obviously ugly and doesn't even do its job. The white lampshade also had a few pits from glass manufacturing flaws. Generally spend more if you want something for your office. I would be ashamed if the customer saw that. I only spent $22 on it for my guest room and it's not worth the hassle of repacking and shipping back so I'll make do for me.
