The instructions are not clear so I recommend making a YouTube video about the Philips pasta machine (which is almost identical to this one). Also google the weight to cup conversion (easy to do) so you know how much flour to use using measuring cups and not a scale. The included measuring cup is great for water-egg mixes. The shapes are super cool. You can add finely chopped ingredients like oregano or basil. After a few tries with this thing I finally got the hang of it and love it! Cleaning isn't fun, but it's worth trying homemade fresh pasta, not store-bought. This year I am making all kinds of noodles for Christmas gifts. Who doesn't love fresh pasta?!
