This compostable bag has so far been our least favorite that my large family has tried. We would end up using more bags because they were too thin to pull out a full bag from the trash can, tie and successfully take outside without it ripping at the top section where we would try to tie it. It also was the only bag to leave a ridiculous mess in our main trash can with the bag melting to the sides of the can before our weekly pickup. I recognize that these are compostable and have a short shelf life, but we've had better success with other brands so far. Perhaps these bags simply aren't a match for our humidity and warm environment.
