I purchased this item because I didn't want an unsightly metal pin sticking out of the wall. I read conflicting reviews and still took a chance. When I opened the package I saw where the problem would be. They are slightly convex on the adhesive side, making it literally impossible to stick them flush to the wall. I cleaned the wall with rubbing alcohol to remove all dirt and oils and pressed the piece firmly into place. As soon as I moved my hand, the scope of the product was immediately released. As you can see from the photos the product is now held by the smallest circle of glue and I don't give it more than 10 minutes before it falls off completely. Don't waste your money no matter how small it is.
