Review on πŸ’ͺ Efficient Malco C5R 5-Blade Pipe Crimper: Optimal Crimping for Superior Pipe Connections by Edward Mcnamara

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with this tool; Made in the USA!

Can you love a crimping tool? Now that I've used this one, I have to say yes. I really didn't want to spend money on a tool just to insert one tube into another, so I tried crimping with ordinary pliers. After failing at this for about an hour, I ended up with a bent sheet metal guard that didn't YET fit into the feed pipe. So I broke down and bought this instrument. It really was more money than I wanted to spend, but it's premium quality, made in the USA (love the little window cut into the handle showing the Made in USA stamp. A nice touch that shows the Proudly USA shows craftsmanship (See second photo). Anyway, I overcame my "failed pliers" crimping disaster with this tool, and after a few minutes I straightened my bent boot and it slid right in as if it had been factory crimped flawlessly. Wonderful! I thought I might need a new one but this tool saved me the money I would have spent on the replacement. Highly recommended. I'll look around for Malco tools first and ignore the higher price. This tool will likely last forever and I know I will remember its quality long after I forget how much I paid for it.
