I've finally realized that it's just not possible to take these things out every day and clean them with vinegar every week. However, that damn pink mold shows up in hard-to-reach crevices. Vinegar doesn't help. I've tried using cotton swabs and even these little toothbrushes that help erase it temporarily but I just can't figure out how to get the pink off. It also leaks, which is very annoying since the cleaning instructions say you have to shake it vigorously after pouring the water with the vinegar in it so the vinegar is all over the counter. The feature itself was fine initially, but I don't feel like it works very well. I had high hopes but hmm.
