Crane's Quality Control seems to have just fallen off a cliff. This one, like *all* other Crane humidifiers I've bought over the years (so much for brand loyalty), died due to a defect in the fan module. Can't recommend them. Save money and buy from another brand.

I am so disappointed in this humidifier. Several websites recommend using it in a child's room which is why I bought it with such high expectations. If you can even remove the water tray, it drips EVERYWHERE. You should keep a towel underneath and another nearby to wipe up spills. This is if you don't give up trying to disconnect the base for 5 minutes each time. Such a shame.

This "little" humidifier is amazing! It's a very fine mist, leaves no dust, easy to clean and maintain, and a dynamic little workhorse. We use two identical models; 1 in our bedroom and 1 in our living room. So useful on cold, chilly winter days when the heating needs to be on. No chapped lips, nose problems or cracked skin! We absolutely LOVE it!

I ordered this humidifier based on good reviews. I received it and it didn't work. I am assuming this is a defective item. I wanted to return it but the shipping cost is more than the refund. So there is no point in sending it back and paying even more at the end. It's sad because I wasted my money and I don't have a humidifier either. In this case, the seller must bear all courier costs. I've finally realized that it's just not possible to take these things out every day and clean them with vinegar every week. However, that damn pink mold shows up in hard-to-reach crevices. Vinegar doesn't help. I've tried using cotton swabs and even these little toothbrushes that help erase it temporarily but I just can't figure out how to get the pink off.
