Easy install but not bright enough for under kitchen cabinet use

These puck lights are pretty and easy to install. They replaced a fluorescent rectangular fixture under the cabinet over my kitchen sink. The brightness is not enough to do kitchen tasks like washing dishes or cutting up veggies. Because of the design of the cabinets, I have to press the remote 2 or 3 times to get the lights to turn on or off. Look good but not as useful as I'd hoped.
