This kit was purchased to replace the original that came with the child gate I bought. These hold down bolts should have set the gate properly. So I ordered these and now everything is great. Very very strong! I use baby gates, dog gates and even if he throws himself at them they still don't budge. BTW I've looked all over hardware stores for places that sell baby gates and no one has heard of hold down bolts as advertised or bought them online. Hope that helps.
