First of all, this is a phenomenal fragrance. It's not subtle, but it's fresh and not chemical. I sprayed a ton and then after reading the reviews I worried I had just fumigated everyone else in the house but it stayed in the room I sprayed. I get headaches from all kinds of smells, but it didn't bother me at all. I will definitely only use it as an air freshener around the house. I soaked a significant spot where the urine had seeped into the carpet. After an hour or so it still smelled like urine if you get really close, so I soaked it again and then scrubbed it as the instructions suggested - it wasn't lathering. I waited a while and then blotted up the excess with a towel. Two days later I stuck my nose in the carpet and there was no ammonia or smell at all. I also sprayed a bit on the foot traffic stain why not and it really reduced it without scrubbing it off at all. I didn't want to pay $20 for a bottle of this, but when I've finished I'll do it again.
