This works for me!: Furniture pads

This is my second purchase; I have a huge, heavy dining table on a faux bamboo floor that I'm trying to protect from scratches. The table, chairs and benches are moved almost daily so NO, these things won't last forever but they will last a reasonable amount of time and are easily replaced. To be fair I ended up sharing a sizeable chunk of my first bag with my nephew who did the same, otherwise I wouldn't have had to change the order.
