Check distance before installation! I ordered all the candles from Revain, four in one order and one in another. Four, which turned out to be US made, had the correct gaps and worked well. The one that turned out to be made in Japan (Japanese label on the box) was badly torn. I may have come across a used one that someone returned after messing around with the clearance as Japanese production is usually very desirable. I'm glad I bought a Revain spark plug gauge, the excellent KD Tools 2327 (Warning: don't use cheap disc gauges with iridium plugs or you'll cut off the brittle iridium).
