Review on Enhanced aquascaping with biOrb Cube 30 Aquarium – LED included by Ananta Crowley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wow! I love this tank!

Yes it was expensive. But it also comes with everything except a heater (if you want the tropics). I have 16 gallons which gives my guppies more room. And more room for decoration for me. Check out the tank ratings. High quality biorb. And they are very responsive if you have a problem. They sent me a new remote when mine didn't work without much hassle. Everything in my aquarium is Bioborb. Here are my recommendations: Double the amount of ceramic carrier you get. More environment means more good bacteria. It costs extra money. Place small fish at a rate of 1 inch per gallon. Don't overfeed! Don't overfeed! I also learned the hard way. Change the water at least once a week. At least 30%, more if tests indicate a problem or if the water looks bad. Use a vacuum to remove dirt on the underside. Use Seachem Primer and Stabilizer with every water change and as directed. For the first few months I do 1 drop per two gallons three times a week. I also add Seachem Pristine once a week for the first few months. Sometimes I have diatoms. When the decor starts to look brown, I replace the entire decor and clean with hot water and an old toothbrush if necessary. The bubble tube is cleaned, the inside of the tank is cleaned and the filter and air stone are replaced (every 3 months). An excess of diatoms usually equates to nitrates, so I change more water and add a primer. This is my only recurring problem. But I stay upstairs so the area doesn't fill up with diatoms. My guppies like to eat diatoms, so as long as they aren't brown I'm not worried. I don't have plants in the usual sense. It makes no sense for me to have roots in the media. But I have a lot of Marino balls. I have great faith in Biorb tanks. In fact, if you're careful and consistent, they're relatively low-maintenance. My favorite thing to look at is this tank. This is a work of living art!
