Who still loves granulated ice cream? Unfortunately, it's not Sonic Ice, but it makes small cubes that are great for chewing and eating. The only downside is that it takes quite a few refills to build up a good stash, and you'll keep refilling as you eat ice cream, as we did (often). Pros: Easy to release - it's like old school, just a little twist and shake - most will fall out. Stuck ones are easy to remove and almost fun because you can push them out of the soft silicone base - they pop out easily. The trays leave a small footprint and are stackable, which is nice. So far I'm satisfied :)
