update; 08/04/2020Everything is as good as my previous two updates. However, in the last few weeks, the WiFi has dropped out about 2-3 times a day. I'm more inclined to believe that the reason lies in the cable modem. I spoke to customer service at both Linksys and Optimum, my ISP. I think they're going to switch to fiber soon and I have a bad feeling I'm in really serious trouble. I will keep you up-to-date. My old Linksys wireless router (and extender) which I would say is around 2-3 years old has been around my house for the past few months due to 5 iPhones, 2 laptops, 2 Macs and a wireless printer always got slower. , Xbox 1, Xbox 360, Play Station 2, 3, 4 etc. I couldn't take anymore my kids screaming that WiFi sucks. etc. etc. Anyway, I'm fed up and talked to a buddy of mine who's sort of into this "thing" and has about the same amount of WiFi devices at home. He did all the research (hee hee hee, not me). He bought the same router and told me to get "this one". Like I said, it's only been a week, but so far so good. Now the kids are fine! They are so happy I finally got around to buying a new router. Games work well there as they should, our iPads and phones also work as they should. will remain positive. *** UPDATE 11/4/19 *** STILL the best WiFi I have ever had. Works perfectly. I had to contact customer service with a small issue and the rep was extremely helpful and fixed the issue quickly.!.DEF would recommend.!.AAA+++
