I've had a Velop 3 Tower Mesh at home for at least a year. It was fantastic and no problem. Excellent WiFi throughout the house. My problem area is the pool area under my main area. There's a pretty good distance. Ethernet over the power line doesn't work because the pool house is on a different channel. Good idea, but the implementation of this mesh network system is just terrible. I spent about $500 on these things to get enough light in my house. They should automatically connect to the internet and update their firmware. They all came with firmware that was incompatible with this one AND in such a way that they didn't work with the automatic setup. update; 08/04/2020Everything is as good as my previous two updates. However, in the last few weeks, the WiFi has dropped out about 2-3 times a day. I'm more inclined to believe that the reason lies in the cable modem. I spoke to customer service at both Linksys and Optimum, my ISP.
