Since September 2020, the power has gone out three times in our house, for a total of 6 days. Besides the fact that the utility company kept lying to us about when the power would come back, the most frustrating thing was the lack of heat or light (well, yeah) so I finally decided to buy oil lamps. I've had these in the past with metal fuel canisters and they leaked (thanks Walmart) so I knew I needed a jar to store the oil. This lamp looks very nice on the wall and its reflector throws a lot of light into the room. Now you need to find the ideal heat source.
